BenGER Benchathon 2026
It's almost time: On March 14–15, 2026, the first BenGER Benchathon will take place in cooperation with the Legal Tech Association!
Why this event? Even though BenGER tells us how well models solve legal tasks according to various metrics, we cannot relate this information unless we know how well humans actually solve the same tasks. Typically, this is compared with human annotations — this is where the benchathon comes into play:
As a playful, community-driven effort, we invite as many students and professionals as possible to solve legal cases in a single day of dedicated work. Participants will receive for each task either traditional tools or additional AI assistance.
All participants earn points for solving tasks, and there is a leaderboard, with the option to choose whether you appear there under a pseudonym or real name. At the end of the event, the top performers will receive small prizes.
We will then use the data from the event in BenGER as a human baseline, of course fully anonymized!
